Error 0x80070490, When upgrade Windows 11 Home to Pro
When we are trying to upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Pro, we got this error message:
Unable to Upgrade your edition
We cant activate Windows on this device right now , you can try activating again later or go to the Store to buy genuine Windows. (0x80070490)

Here is the solution:
Normally you can use a Windows 111 Pro product key to upgrade Windows 11 Home to Pro directly. but sometimes due to some reason, it does not work, and get an error message 0x80070490, you can try this solution:
Method one :First , please try to remove your antivirus , then try to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro again !
Method two: if you still cant upgrade to Windows 11 Pro in the Method one, then please :
1. Disconnect the network of your PC.
2. Go to System > Activation.
3. Select "Change Product Key", then use the generic key below to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.

Once you upgraded to Windows 11 Pro, connect the network of the PC and then use your valid Windows 11 Pro product key to activate the system

Method Three: if you still cant upgrade it with the generic product key

Open an admin Command Prompt window and run the following commands one by one:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

SFC /SCANNOW
And you still cant upgrade to windows 11 Pro with the solution, you can try to do a clean installation of  windows 11 Pro via

Then activate it with your valid Windows 11 Pro key
