How to use Windows Remote Desktop to access another PC in Windows 11

What is Remote Desktop?

Enable Remote Desktop

For two devices to be connected and accessed from a distance, both must have Remote Desktop enabled. On Windows 11 Pro, you can do this by going to Settings > System > Remote Desktop and toggle the “Enable Remote Desktop” button. Connecting with non-Windows operating systems

If you are using a non-Windows operating system, such as  Android、iOS、iPadOS、macOS, you can download the Microsoft Remote Desktop app to get connected. Once you’ve downloaded it, enter the name of the PC you want to connect to in the app, and then wait for the connection to complete.d

How to download Windows 11 Pro

If your computer isn’t running Windows 11 Pro, you won’t be able to use the Remote Desktop to connect another PC
